I am not familiar with any of the actors nor with Bollywood films in general, which I do not find appealing because of their over- dramatisation of. The film is intense, wonderfully directed and benefits from great acting. I did, however, watch it, and I loved it. On the other hand, a- not-so-good rating and most reviewers claiming it was very bad were lowering my expectations. On one hand, I had seen the Nagada Sang Dhol and Lahu Muhn Lag Gaya clips on you-tube - exactly what caught my eye and made me want to watch it. This case is set to be heard on 30th June by the Bombay HC.I watched this film with mixed expectations. One of the party being situated in the British Isles and the other in Burbank, California and therefore, there arises a need for a detailed hearing after considering law on the subject as to whether reliefs can be granted under Section 9 against these two parties.
One of them being that the main relief sought against the two respondents were admittedly not parties to the arbitration agreement and also not situated within the jurisdiction of the Court. The court opined that there were important questions of law that arise in this case. The court acknowledged that disputes between the parties arose as far back as on 26th October 2018 and a notice was also issued by Bhansali Production in October 2019. Later this month Bhansali Productions again reached out to court with a similar request to protect the rights with respect to movie “Bajirao Mastani”.

The Bombay High Court on 4th May had passed an orderdirecting Eros Media to pay a sum of Rs.19,39,241/- to Bhansali Productions Pvt.
